I've been thinking about the relationship between Qymaen and Ronderu, and after reading that the author of 'unknown soldier' was inspired by the relationship of two Sumarian warriors who were mirror images of one another, I have new respect. At first I was all "yeah Grievous had a girlfriend!!" But now I really like to think that their relationship was more than that. They deeply cared for each other, and were truely best friends. I also love to think that Grievous was redeemed at his death, and joined the ancestors in the celestial plain. Or whatever.

Despite you drawing this over 6 years ago it still captures the emotion heavily. It really stirs emotions for me thanks to Qymaen II, and how emotionally attached he was to his father; just constantly trying harder and harder to show him that he was worthy, just trying to gain the acceptance and love of his father again after the accident, only to fail as it all falls apart. Then lamenting over it for decades with self doubt that he wasn't worthy of his father's name or legacy. Qymaen finally saw his prayers answered when his planned government began to come together and came to only one conclusion: It was his father from above. From then on he knew he was worthy of being the son of Qymaen jai Sheelal I and of his legacy.

It really is an emotionally inspiring piece if you couple in some of the backstory I had planned of younger Qymaen comforting his grieving father.

Aww thanx! If I could change one thing about the picture it would be the anatomy. Qy has too long a torso, looks a bit like a y'eskii'ill's. I also wish his legs were showing with his reptilian toes all curled and dead looking. Poor baby.
