kaleesh nestling

So when I went to the Las Vegas Star Trek convention last year, and saw an absolutely awesome group of Andorians (complete with a mother and baby) I knew I had to get back to working on my kaleesh baby who had been sitting neglected in my closet for some time.

Anyway this is Laal'jen, daughter of Wal'k'jen, AKA Karabbackilla, the kaleesh persona I have adopted and will hopefully dress up as at celebration 4. Wal'k'jen is a self proclaimed female warrior, and her baby has taken to the warrior look complete with protection amulet, red jasper beads and wooden beads adorned with spear motifs. Inwardly turned as a call for peace.

Tried to pull off the cute, round eyed infant look and the unpredictable 'mabey it's dangerous look' at the same time. I think she looks like a monkey myself, but hey , moms love their kids no matter what they look like .

Fun to imagine this little 4 week old bundle of joy screeching and climbing my leg. And eating goldfish out of the bowl.
